This blazer from Nordstrom Rack has become my favorite! So far I have worn it dressed up for work and then with jeans. I can’t wait until summer to roll up the sleeves and pair it with dress shorts.
It was originally $80 and I paid $20. I keep my fashion budget pretty tight each month so finding trendy pieces for more than half off is so exciting. I could not let this blazer go. Even when I got to the checkout line the employee asked me how I found this for so cheap!
My answer: dig, dig, dig! Nordstrom Rack is another one of those stores that is absolutely amazing if you are a good “digger.” Although the store is completely organized you still have to search through racks, especially if you are looking for a deal.
I put this blazer with several other pieces that are more timeless for my closet. I do choose to spend more money on pieces that I plan to wear often. Especially when I’m with a tough crowd (AKA: kids). These jeans, shoes, and bag were that kind of purchase. I’ve had both pieces for over a year and have already gotten so much wear out of them.
There is one thing to remember whether you are buying timeless pieces or trendy items for a steal. Fashion is all about you! It is what you make of it and what describes you. Don’t limit your style to those around you or even what you see on social media. Put together the “pieces of you.” Let your Red Dress guide your fashion!
